A-line skirt

It makes the wide part wider as its hem lies on the widest part of the skirt.

Pencil skirt

Split skirt

Flared skirt

Circle skirt

Dirndl skirt

Also known as gathered skirt, it fans out from the waist gathers and is not easy to wear if the fabric is not soft and fluid. A modified dirndl is a great choice for women with tummies or high hips.

Pleated skirt

The pleats can start from the waist down or stitched closed to the hip and lends fullness to the wearer. A stitched-down pleated skirt creates alluring dancing movements when the wearer moves. A soft pleated skirt provides wonderful vertical lines and graceful silhouette.

Miniskirts

Quite similar to short shorts, miniskirts work best for women with long, beautiful, and shapely legs.

Maxi skirt

The opposite of miniskirt, a maxi skirt runs down to the ankles. Depending on the fabric, it can be worn during cold and warm weathers. Such a long skirt might not emphasize shapely legs. With the right blouse or top, a maxi can be pretty fashionable.

Hip yoke skirt

A clever invention, a hip yoke skirt provides a smooth line over the hips and tummy. If the yoke falls in the right place, there’s no woman who can’t wear this skirt. A hip yoke skirt is best worn with a tucked blouse.

Trumpet skirt

Shaped like a trumpet, this skirt hugs the hips and knees in a tight fit and bursts into a flare like a blossom or trumpet at the bottom. A trumpet skirt looks great in women fabrics.

Asymmetrical skirt

Design with one side of the hem longer than the other, this type of skirt is fun to wear especially during night outs. It is usually made from soft and flowing fabrics.

Trouser skirt

A trouser skirt is often made from fluid fabrics and can lend innate grace than any other bottoms. It can either be flared at the bottom or fitted but all trouser skirts have belt loops, fly fronts, and pockets.
